STORY LINE
With everyone caught up in the sensational trial of luscious young GLORIA K., accused of the murder of her 93 year old husband J. DONALD K., Allison begins seeing the face of one FRED everywhere she goes--on people she knows, people she doesn't know, even Joe's face is replaced by Fred's. It's eventually revealed that Fred is a computer hacker and master identity thief in cahoots with Gloria to make sure the jury votes in her favor...
[FRED] Late 20s to early 30s, clean cut, with an average but memorable face, Fred is a computer hacker and identity thief who's working with his friend Gloria to steal enough money to sabotage the jury that's trying her murder case. In Allison's eyes, Fred appears everywhere she looks, his face planted on many, many different people, men and women, from a computer tech in the office to a suburban woman walking her dog to Lee Scanlon--even to Joe, her husband; apparently, Allison is seeing Fred's face on the bodies of all the people whose identity he's stolen. But Fred's a very clever guy, and though he does manage to get Gloria what she wants--her late husband's billions--he pays back the little people whose savings he wiped out, and then makes Gloria pay for all his hard work, big time...GUEST STAR (7)
[MISTER TEEFERS] Early 30s to mid 40s. A man in a giant Beaver outfit, like those worn by college team mascots on game day, Mister Teefers is actually a dead guy, encased for eternity in the mascot suit he died in, who has been visiting little Jeb S., the boy Ariel is babysitting. An overbearing, self-serving, vengeful guy whose girlfriend's shrink called him a "domineering influence," Mister Teefers is very unnerved that Ariel can see him, and tries to ingratiate himself with her by explaining that he's there to help Jeb, who has a lot of issues which cause his terrible behavior. Eventually, Mister Teefers comes clean to Ariel: he's actually trying to get revenge on Jeb's mother, who's the psychiatrist who told his girlfriend to break up with him right before he died...GUEST STAR (15) PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES
[GLORIA K.] Late 20s, with all the curves of a classic femme fatale, Gloria is wife / nursemaid of 93 year old billionaire J. Donald K. Married fourteen and a half months, Gloria is dismayed to learn that Donald's prostate cancer has apparently disappeared and he just might live another ten years; this was clearly not her plan when she married him, and in her profound disappointment she pushes him down the stairs in his wheelchair and then bashes him to death with a wrought-iron bookend. Gloria does her best to play the bereaved widow at her murder trial, but just to make sure of an acquittal so she can enjoy Donald's billions herself, she has her friend Fred perpetrate a scam to buy off one of the jurors...GUEST STAR (1)
[GERALD P.] 35-55, Gloria K.'s attorney, professional, confident, smoothly slimy, cut from the same amoral self-serving cloth as his client, Prosser loves all the media attention he's getting for this case, but knows that he's going to have to cut a deal for his client, who's not a big hit with the jury. He presents his option to Devalos as if he's doing him a big favor, and is ultimately quite pleased with the final outcome of the trial...GUEST STAR (5)PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES
[JEB S.] 5 years old, angel-faced, Jeb is the son of Patti S., who's hired Ariel to babysit for him after school for a week. Jeb has the reputation of being a terror of a child who's sent a number of sitters packing already, but his nasty behavior--crazy-gluing a sitter's hands together, scrawling all over Ariel's homework--isn't his idea. Jeb (and Ariel) sees a giant beaver, Mister Teefers, who's been telling him to do all these terrible things because, in Jeb's eyes, Mister Teefers is magic.
