Patricia Arquette is among the nominees for the 16th annual Screen Actors Guild awards! She has been nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series along with six other actresses (a vote which resulted in a tie, apparently). No Nomination for the entire cast though :(. Check out the list behind the cut for other nominess of the SAG Awards.

The 2010 People’s Choice Awards have opened their ballot boxes for nominee submissions. Medium has made it to the short list for best Sci-Fi/Fantasy show. If it gets enough votes it will become an official People’s Choice nominee, and be eligible for the award. None of the actors have received individual nominations, but since they’re still in the early stages, you can write in actors. So show your favorite Medium stars some love and let’s see if Patricia Arquette, Jake Weber or maybe even Maria Lark can get some award-show recognition.

Just a few more images of Patricia Arquette at the 61st Emmy Awards, with a majority of them of her mingling with her hubby Thomas Jane (of recent Hung fame :D). ALSO: NBC has totally regulated their Medium Website to "non-functional" site with S1 Graphics :P. Not a link they have leads anywhere except to a "sorry/page not found" link.

Despite having some of the best acting and writing on television, Medium never garners a huge amount of nominations come award season. Of course, many shows with rabid fan followings are similarly overlooked. The Shield, Chuck, and Battlestar Gallactica were also snubbed, just to name a few. Every year its the same thing: beloved shows are overlooked, fans cause a stink on the internet, and… nothing happens. Well, this year is different. Entertainment Weekly is partnering up with Hulu to create the EWwy Awards. The EWwys are turning the Emmys upside down and focusing on the shows and actors that the Emmys forgot.

Voting began yesterday in the comedy categories, while the drama nominees will be revealed Sunday September 6, with voting going until Friday, September 11. The press release gives a partial list of nominees, and on it was Mr. Joe Dubois himself, Jake Weber. Weber is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Since the Drama category isn’t open yet, I can’t see if any other Medium castmembers are up for awards, but it’s really nice to see Weber get mentioned. Although, since this is sponsored by Entertainment Weekly, I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised.

So make sure you vote starting on September 6– or go now, to vote in the comedies and show those guys some love. I’ll be sure to post reminders on Twitter, so if you’re not following us, get on it! Also, remember to check back starting on the 6th, to see if Patricia Arquette or anyone else in the cast garners a nomination. Who do you think deserves an EWwy?
