STORY LINE
Allison has a dream that tells her Ariel's new boyfriend Kyle is a murderer...
[KYLE "CASEY" CHAMBERLAIN] An extremely handsome boy about Ariel's age (16 turning 17), he is her classmate, as well as her first boyfriend; even with his bangs hanging down into his face, he looks dreamy enough to be the Lost Jonas Brother. Likeable, polite and respectful to Joe and Allison, Kyle appears to be the perfect first boyfriend -- except he keeps making guest appearances in Allison's dreams as a killer. Baffled and upset when he's questioned about the murder of local scumbag Earl Richardson, he thinks that Allison is lashing out vindictively because her daughter is growing up too fast. But in fact, Kyle is deeply involved in the life and death of Earl Richardson -- because Earl murdered Kyle's biological father, Angelo Filipelli, 17 years ago, and Kyle has lived his life with the bizarre obsession that he is Angelo's reincarnation...GUEST STAR (3)
[NANCY CHAMBERLAIN] An elegant woman in her early 40s, stylishly dressed, Nancy is the mother of Kyle Chamberlain, and she has the look of someone who doesn't suffer fools gladly. Coldly outraged to learn that Allison and Scanlon have been questioning her son in connection with a murder, Nancy initially appears to have some righteous indignation on her side. But 17 years ago she was a very different woman: she kicked a drug habit, cut off a long relationship with lowlife lover Angelo Filipelli, and made plans to marry Kyle's well-to-do father -- even though she was carrying Angelo's child in her womb. Completely outraged that his child would not carry his name, Angelo threatened to splash Nancy's nuptials with mud -- but before he could make good on his threat, he was drowned in cement by Earl Richardson. [LLOYD DARBY] A doughy man in his late 30s to mid 40s with a non-threatening manner, he's a klutz in a cheap suit, and Bridgette thinks his hapless adventures (changing a tire, dropping his groceries) are so funny that she videotapes them and uploads them to YouTube. Now a famous local buffoon, mocked by strangers, he drops by the Dubois home to assert what's left of his dignity and to ask the videos be taken from public view -- or he'll sue. But he has another reason for wanting his face out of public view: he's wanted in another state for bilking senior citizens -- and Bridgette has been unwittingly carrying on her mommy's work...GUEST STAR (33)
