STORY LINE
Allison gets a new car rental after her old vehicle is wrecked, and is amazed when she hears a murder/bombing plot over her car's satellite radio...
[DEREK] 38-45, a ruggedly handsome 15 year veteran of the police bomb squad, Derek has nerves of steel, even in the face of death. Derek courageously attempts to defuse a bomb strapped to a would-be bank robber. Unable to save the perpetrator, Derek escapes death himself and is lauded as a hero. However, Allison is beginning to realize that Derek just may be the mastermind behind a lethal robbery scheme that has already left two men dead in fatal blasts...GUEST STAR (30)
[JAMIE] This 15 year old girl, who has recently gotten her driving permit, is obviously shaken when she runs into Allison's car in the parking lot at Ariel's school. Her mother, Lauren, who was in the car at the time of the crash, seems quite willing to assume full responsibility for the repairs. However, Ariel soon realizes that it was actually Lauren, already inebriated at 8 in the morning, who was driving. Fearful that her mother may be arrested, Jamie pleads for Ariel's silence -- but Ariel's horrifying vision of Jamie's future fate convinces her to take action to save Jamie, before it's too late.sptv050769..GUEST STAR (5)
[LAUREN] In her early to late 40s, Jamie's mother, this sharply attired businesswoman takes charge after her daughter plows into Allison's parked car outside the school. A bit imperious and overbearing, Lauren nonetheless is quite open and generous when it comes to admitting fault and taking responsibility. But as Ariel later realizes, Lauren may be a habitual drunk driver who is actually using her daughter to cover up her own fault -- and her drinking problem, unless addressed, may have a lethal outcome in the near future...GUEST STAR (5)
[TROY] 35-42, this wiry ex-con is heard on Allison's car radio, pleading with his apparent abductor. Later, Troy robs an area bank, wired with explosives and clearly terrified.
