For several years now, OneXOne — an international charity that continues to implement health care, water, food, education and entertainment initiatives that enhance the well-being of our world’s less fortunate children — has teamed up with Academy Award winner Matt Damon to spread awareness about their mission to those who have funds to spare. The movie and 30 Rock guest star will once again lend his hosting talents to their 3rd Annual OneXOne Fundraiser, happening on Wednesday, October 27th at NYC’s glitzy, architecturally-awesome Capitale.
Focused on offering a top-rate evening of entertainment (including performances by Collective Soul, 9 year old pianist-composer Ethan Bortnick and an award winning children’s choir), OneXOne will also share details about their work with Partners in Health to create a new Haiti hospital pediatric wing as well as offer a keynote speaking presentation by Paul Farmer (a co-founder of Partners in Health).
